 RAH:
Please read the     article I sent home with RAH titled, “Why I Can’t Skip My 20 Minutes of Reading Tonight.” This is a great perspective on the importance of reading in regards to preparing your child for the future!

WEEK 7

Our grade level is looking for parent volunteers to work in the Read Naturally computer lab. We are in need of volunteers for Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday 12:20-12:50 p.m. You would be working with 3rd grade students on a reading intervention based computer program. You could pick one day or all three days. If you are willing to help, we need you to commit to that/those day/s and be here on time to help these students. Please contact me if you are available!

Library Books
We have a new rule: Students are NOT allowed to buy popcorn on Friday if they have missing library books. The concept is: if you are responsible enough to remember popcorn money, then you are responsible enough to remember your library books!

Treat Bags
If you would still like to do something for the Halloween Party and don’t know what to do, we could use donations for treat bags:
Pencils
Erasers
Boxed Raisins
Pretzels
Halloween Toys
